Hung out with YRC at the Specialty Coffee show in Anaheim this weekend. It was a great show and we had a great booth location. We were right next to Marley Coffee. Fun guys, excellent coffee – check them out.

Did you know that when your small package carrier has to make a correction to the address on a package they charge $10.00 – per package!! One easy fix is remember – neither UPS nor FedEx delivers to PO Boxes!!

Carrier spam emails

I just got an email supposedly from FedEx asking me to click on a link to find my “missing shipment”. Warning… These are not REAL! I have seen them from all the major small parcel carriers and they are SPAM! Be careful what you open? Not sure if the email is legitimate? Log on to your online account or software and double check!

I do a bunch of tradeshows (just back from the ASR Show) every year and so I get to meet some cool people. Recently I met Guy Grundy. Guy was one of the first X-Gamers ever! in 1975 he took his skateboard and shot down Signal Hill, setting a speed record of over 50 miles per hour! As a bonus, he is a genuinely nice guy and has a great life story beyond surfing and skateboarding.
